For one year Harry Price has the key to the notoriously most haunted house in England. Borley Rectory. A notice in The Times is given to the public urging fifty candidates to exercise an experiment to find out the truth of the house. The bizarre accounts increase per group bound under contract to keep quiet. As the candidates enroll the house shadowed in mystery begins to take on a life of it's own.

Thoughts

I want to do this justice and do it right. The truth and skepticism. The real scares and fascinating spirit of the time. As a lot of you know I've been interested in this since i was little, grew up interested in - heck, some of you went to the ruins of the place with me being it was so close to where we lived. That is why this is personal to me. Over the years i had wrote dialogue, scenes and kept putting on hold - that one day after a short film picked up i will have the money to make it. Time doesn't wait. With all the 'supposed' true ghost story movies coming out - i knew it was a matter of time before it was too late and someone else made this story into a film. I couldn't put it on hold any longer - I had a story of my own to tell. So, as it happened on the twentieth anniversary of my discovery of Borley i typed out a script to send off to Shriekfest a renowned film and screenplay festival in California. I am happy to say it became a semi finalist for 'Best horror screenplay'. This is great for a festival so big - one of the best I've entered into. This could be a reality with your help. I don't want this butchered.  Perhaps this story with it's interesting history known and unknown, myth and legend deserves the best execution told by one of Borley's own Essex natives.
